This One Thought Could Change the Entire Direction Of Your Life

screen-shot-2016-09-25-at-11-29-51-amYadbhavam Tat Bhavati….what we think we become.

I’m sure you often ponder the life you are living and if its where you want to be. Whether its your job, your relationships, the city you are living in or whether you are living a life of relevance or not. The big challenge for many of us is having a vision for where we want to be that is NOT determined by where we have BEEN. Yes, sounds confusing I know but stay with me.

The choices we make today (which determine our future) are usually influenced by the perception we have about ourselves. The perception of WHO WE ARE is usually determined by our past. For instance if you had a very negative upbringing with lots of abuse, then this becomes your story that you identify with. This previous experience now defines the perception of who you think you are. I’m this person or I’m that person based upon my previous life experiences. This then determines the decisions that you make which determines your future. So your future life is heavily influenced by your past.

This is why we keeping going round and round in circles reliving the same relationships, financial situations and careers over and over again because of this story we have inside our head about who we are and what level of worthiness we feel about ourselves.

How do we break this pattern? This is the exciting part! What if you had a perception about WHO YOU ARE based upon your FUTURE experiences and not your PAST experiences? For instance if you saw yourself in the future as a best-selling author, award winning film-maker, leading CEO of a company, in a loving harmonious relationship, living with affluence, founder of a charity, working in an orphanage, creating a globally successful app or whatever you imagine yourself doing, then this would change the decisions that you make today.

Think of this, the canvas of your future life is blank, and you get to fill it in with whatever you would like!! When you hold that vision firmly inside your head, then this redefines the perception that you have of yourself. This then redefines the decisions that you make and this defines your future. So your new future perception of yourself that you hold today, leads you to becoming this in the future! How cool is that? Yadbhavam tat bhavati.

The big challenge now is to not only continue to hold that firm vision of your future self but to even see it in the first place! This is where the Zen Academy for Transformational Leadership comes in. This is a 12 month coaching program where we help you find that BIG VISION of your future self, hold that vision, and then make it become REAL.

This is what some of our members have said about Zen Academy:

Five Quotes to Illustrate Your Purpose in Life

What is our purpose in life? Many people will ask themselves this question, but very few will actually realize the answer. When it comes to understanding why we are here, perhaps it’s best to learn from those who have gone before us. The following quotes are tidbits of inspiration to help you on your way to understanding and realizing your own individual purpose in life.

Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.

– James Dean

We all have dreams. Whether you aspire to run your own business, become a parent, or fight for human rights, you alone have the power to realize your dreams within your lifetime. If you want your life to feel worthwhile and ultimately purposeful, you need to think about what you want to accomplish and start working for it today, because who knows what tomorrow will bring.

“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.”

– Swami Vivekanada

Living a purposeful life doesn’t necessarily mean being conventional in the traditional sense, but feeling as though you accomplished something you are proud of. If you are passionate about what you do, success will follow naturally.

You may have goals already, but until the time you learn how to become totally focused, you won’t be able to achieve them. You need to learn how to quiet your mind by limiting the number of distracting thoughts that enter your head – something that can be accomplished through mental Stillness. When you clear your mind, you instantaneously understand how to go about doing all the things you want to do, and you’ll feel purposeful in the meantime. Take some time to find out about the Stillness Effect to learn more.

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind.”

– Ashley Smith

If you’re in tune with beauty, you will lead a beautiful life. We live in a world full to the brim with goodness. When you take the time to find joy in small places, you can come to understand the precious and fragile nature of life, and you can take your purpose from there. Whether or not you believe it, you’ve been blessed with so much. All you have to do is look around you to realize just how much you’ve been given.

“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”

– Albert Einstein

If we’re not on this planet to love, then what? Love is powerful beyond belief. Just think of the special feeling you get when a friend makes you laugh, or how profoundly meaningful it is to become a parent and watch your children grow up and carry out their lives. The relationships we have while we’re here are the pinnacle of our purpose.

“Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clearer view again.”

– Alex Tan

It is not our purpose in life to suffer; still, suffering is an inevitable fact of our existence. No one person is spared from pain – not the wealthiest businessman, nor the world’s most famous celebrity. Broken relationships, death, job loss, illnesses both mental and physical, and loneliness are just a few of the afflictions that can befall us as we move through life. Learning how to cope with the difficult things that transpire is our challenge here on Earth.

Are you struggling to find your purpose in life? Let us help you find it in the Zen Academy. This is a leadership program that helps you find that powerful leader inside. This is what some members had to say about their time in Zen Academy:

My Body Gave Me A Message, And I Listened

How do you feel when you are tired?

How about when you are swamped with deadlines?

Or perhaps you are trying to do a million things all at once?

One of the key teachings in the Zen Academy for Transformational Leadership is the importance of maintaining a space of tranquility, compassion and love in everything that we do. Often leaders become so caught up in their mission, in the DOING, and the end goals, that they become fatigued, stressed and overwhelmed. When we slip into this state – fatigue, stress and overwhelm – we lose the foundation of what it is to be a transformational leader. We no longer embody the energy of that which we intend to inspire in others.

It was for this reason I headed west…away from the city, to be amongst nature, surrounded by trees, and still water and quiet. I could feel my body tiring, and I was swept along in the DOING of life, and although I have a daily practice that takes me into the stillness, every now and then I need a booster. Think of it like a stillness injection! So I headed to the amazing Billabong Retreat for a dose of Tom-Time.

Whilst there I made you a little clip 🙂

This Is Something I Felt I Had To Do

vision 2

I think you would agree we are facing some very challenging times on the planet. Not only is there the refugee crisis in Europe, the recent collapse of global stock markets, world record levels of debt, and major environmental issues like we’ve never faced before, we’re also experiencing record levels of depression, anxiety, obesity and ADHD across the globe.

Now I’m not here to dwell on the challenges, I’m here to invite you to join me in creating progressive change. As Einstein said, it’s not the strongest of the species that survives it’s the most adaptable. Not only from my own stressed, dark and anxious state have I seen enormous change occur, but I’ve seen it in the lives of thousands of my students also. All it takes is a commitment to progressive change.

For a while now I’ve had students asking me questions like:
“What more can I do?”
“Can you help me get to the next level?”
“Do you run teacher training programs?”

I held back and held back but then I eventually felt an inner compulsion that was too strong to ignore. It was time to do something that I’ve never done before. I felt deep down there were people like you that were ready to be the pioneers of a new paradigm on the planet. For that reason I created the Zen Academy For Transformational Leadership. This is a powerful 3 month training that will awaken and activate your inner transformational leader.

See over the last 20 years I’ve studied under some of the worlds most prolific Vedic Philosophers, sages and transformational leaders. I’ve read countless books, done countless courses and explored deep into the mind and consciousness itself. Now for the first time I’ve poured all that out into a program that will not only stretch and expand your mind and heart, but it will also map out for you the pathway to becoming a leader in any field.

Leaders don’t have to be CEO’s of companies, published authors, or TV personalities. To me..

Leadership is a state of consciousness and living with an open heart of love.

Admittedly, this isn’t for everyone. It will have it’s own challenges in it and it will get uncomfortable at times. But if you resonate with awakening your inner transformational leader, then click the button below to find out more about the next steps.
